Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Trinity Counseling Services, you will undertake the following responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate students' mental health needs and create individualized treatment plans that address these needs through evidence-based practices.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, tailored to each student’s unique circumstances.

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to the ethical standards set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes school psychologists, educators, and other mental health professionals to provide coordinated care and ensure comprehensive support for each student.

• Engage in case consultations and contribute to peer review meetings, reflecting on individual cases and the collective approach to care that enhances treatment effectiveness.

• Educate students and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and local resources, empowering them to take an active role in their well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you'll primarily serve students within a school environment, ranging from elementary to high school levels, who may be facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will be pivotal in fostering an inclusive, safe, and supportive setting, helping students navigate their mental health challenges and empowering them to pursue academic and personal success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical practices.

• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Washington State.
