Exciting Opportunity for a Bariatrics APP

Our organization in Mason City, Iowa, is thrilled to announce an opening for a Bariatrics Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to become part of our Bariatric Surgery team. We welcome both new graduates and seasoned professionals to apply!

Opportunity Highlights

• Collaborate with a dedicated team consisting of 1 Bariatric Surgeon and 2 APPs.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Engage in a combination of clinical and surgical responsibilities.
• No on-call duties required!
• The clinic is situated within a multi-specialty facility connected to a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital.
• Primary service area serves approximately 260,000 residents.
• Facility includes a Level III Trauma Center with helicopter services.
• Competitive salary starting at $114,000, plus a $25,000 recruitment bonus!

About the Medical Center

Our regional health system spans 14 counties and includes the main medical center, seven critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics throughout northern Iowa. We are a teaching hospital that offers residency programs in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine, as well as fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be board-certified as a Physician Assistant (PA).
• Ability to obtain an Iowa medical license, DEA, and CSA, along with medical staff privileges at our facility.
