Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Take your expertise as a Physical Therapist into a rewarding school-based contract role supporting students across multiple grade levels. This full-time opportunity offers both summer and academic year assignments, with a collaborative PT/PTA team serving a shared caseload of up to 50 students. Your primary responsibility will be to travel between sites, providing essential therapy services and ensuring every student receives tailored, impactful support.

Key Qualifications & Experience

• Hold an active Physical Therapist license
• Prior pediatric or educational setting experience preferred
• Experience with early intervention, particularly Pre-K, is valuable (TPBA/PreK evaluation certification a plus, but not required)
• Must be fingerprinted to work with Pre-K students (compliance required prior to start)
• Comfortable working onsite and traveling between schools
• Flexible and adaptable—caseload school numbers may vary
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Team-oriented approach; ability to collaborate seamlessly with PTAs and educators  Position Details & Responsibilities
• Contract period:
  • ESY: July 8, 2026 – July 30, 2036, 8am-12:30pm, Monday-Thursday (2 PTs needed)
  • Academic Year: August 13, 2026 – May 28, 2027, 8am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday (full-time, 35 hours/week)
• Serve students from elementary to high school
• Deliver intervention services, support IEP goals, and provide thorough documentation
• Travel between multiple schools—routes scheduled to maximize efficiency
• Mileage reimbursement provided
