Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Physical Therapist working within a collaborative school setting. This contract position offers a diverse experience across multiple school sites, serving a caseload of up to 50 students as part of an integrated PT/PTA team. Coverage spans all grade levels, providing engaging opportunities at every stage of student growth.

Your schedule will involve Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, totaling 35 hours weekly during the academic year (August 13, 2026, to May 28, 2027). There is also a summer commitment for the Extended School Year (ESY) program, from July 8-30, 2026, with morning hours (8:00 am–12:30 pm, Monday–Thursday). Travel between schools will be required, with thoughtful scheduling so your assigned sites are in close proximity. Additionally, mileage reimbursement is provided.

Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist license (required)
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings highly preferred
• Fingerprinting required for those working with Pre-K students
• Early intervention experience or familiarity with Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment (TPBA) is a plus, but not mandatory
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to shifting caseloads

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students from Pre-K through high school
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student achievement
• Travel between assigned schools as needed
