Physical Therapist - School Setting in Spring Lake, NC

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current North Carolina Physical Therapist license (required)
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
• Familiarity with IEPs, LMNs, and progress monitoring procedures

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy treatment services to students
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including standardized assessments
• Develop, implement, and document individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Write Letters of Medical Necessity (LMNs) as needed for student services
• Regularly monitor and document student progress toward therapy goals
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Supervise and support PTAs as part of the therapy team
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal requirements

Schedule and Commitment:

• Full-time, 35 hours per week
• Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Contract position for the full 2026-2027 school year
