Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Looking for a fulfilling opportunity to make an impact across multiple schools? A skilled Physical Therapist is needed on a contract basis to support students ranging from Pre-K to high school, in a dynamic and collaborative educational environment. This essential role involves working alongside a dedicated PT/PTA team, providing expert care to a diverse caseload.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and current Physical Therapist license required
• Prior experience working in a school-based setting preferred
• Early intervention background and TPBA (Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment) certification highly valued, but not mandatory
• Must be able to obtain fingerprint clearance to work with Pre-K students
• Comfortable traveling between school sites; mileage is reimbursed
• Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to approximately 50 students in partnership with the PT/PTA team
• Travel between assigned schools to efficiently manage the caseload; locations coordinated to minimize commuting
• Participate in evaluations, treatment planning, and interventions tailored to each student’s individualized education plan (IEP)
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to help students achieve their motor and functional goals
• Provide input for eligibility and ongoing supports, including ESY (Extended School Year) services
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations

Schedule:

• ESY: July 8 – July 30, 2026, Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am – 12:30 pm
• Full-Time: August 13, 2026 – May 28, 2027, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 3:30 pm, 35 hours per week
