Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active PT license required for the state.
• Experience in school-based physical therapy is preferred.
• Early intervention or preschool background a plus, especially if you are TPBA (Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment) certified.
• Fingerprinting required for those working with Pre-K students.
• Comfortable traveling between schools; mileage is provided.
• Strong communication skills and dedication to student-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy assessments and direct treatment to a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students in coordination with PTAs.
• Travel between multiple schools, with locations assigned for proximity and manageable commuting.
• Conduct and document Pre-K evaluations (if qualified/trained).
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support educational and developmental goals.
• Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with district and state requirements.
• Provide services during both the ESY (Extended School Year) period and the full academic year:
  • ESY: July 8-30, 2026, Monday-Thursday, 8am–12:30pm.
  • Academic Year: August 13, 2026–May 28, 2027, Monday-Friday, 8am–3:30pm, 35 hours per week.
