School-Based Physical Therapist - Hope Mills, North Carolina

Bring your expertise and passion for pediatric physical therapy to a dynamic school-based team. You'll enjoy consistent hours-35 each week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm-enabling a healthy work-life balance while you empower students to reach their full potential.


Qualifications and Experience:

• Current North Carolina Physical Therapist license (required)
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric PT setting is highly desired
• Experience completing evaluations, developing and implementing interventions, and progress monitoring
• Ability to write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Letters of Medical Necessity (LMNs)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Comfortable providing supervision and support to PTAs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments tailored to the school environment
• Develop individualized treatment plans to support each student's academic access
• Accurately complete required documentation, including IEPs, LMNs, and regular progress updates
• Deliver direct physical therapy services in accordance with student goals
• Actively monitor and track student progress to ensure intervention effectiveness
• Provide supervision, coaching, and feedback to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
