Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and continuous follow-up evaluations to monitor client progress from the first appointment through to treatment completion.

• Develop individualized intervention and recovery plans, ensuring they address the diverse needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Lead and facilitate individual sessions as well as group therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices and approved methodologies.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of treatment progress within our electronic health records system, such as AVATAR, to enhance client treatment outcomes.
\n
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create holistic treatment strategies that optimize recovery efforts.
\n
• Identify and mitigate factors that may pose barriers to recovery, providing guidance to clients and their families throughout the therapeutic process.
\n
• Assist family members and primary caregivers in navigating mental health challenges and navigating support systems for their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves a diverse clientele who may be facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our approach is grounded in empirical knowledge and best practices, allowing us to provide comprehensive support tailored to each client's background, experience levels, and unique challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that facilitate rapport building with clients.
\n
• A strong foundation in ethical best practices, preferably consistent with the guidelines set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Previous experience providing mental health counseling in a telehealth format, demonstrating the ability to engage clients effectively in a virtual setting.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, enhancing workflow and documentation.

• Experience addressing the complexities surrounding addiction disorders and their intertwined nature with physical and emotional health conditions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, in addition to a sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates.
