Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine clients' mental health status, including their emotional, psychological, and social needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans by utilizing evidence-based practices and incorporating client feedback and preferences.

• Engage in regular therapeutic sessions with clients, guiding them through challenges related to depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and other mental health disorders.

• Provide patient education and resource referrals to ensure comprehensive support and continuity of care, including collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers as needed.

• Monitor and document clients' progress through the EHR system, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development sessions, contributing to a culture of shared learning and effective service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients consist of individuals from various backgrounds dealing with a wide range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, behavioral issues, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders. As a counselor, you will be instrumental in providing culturally competent care that respects each client's social context and personal history.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health counseling role.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies, and an understanding of cultural sensitivities in therapeutic practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
