Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions employing motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive behavioral changes.

• Lead group therapy sessions that foster community support and encourage shared learning among participants.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated treatment approach.

• Provide crisis intervention for clients in distress, ensuring immediate support during substance-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery strategies, and local resources to enhance their support network.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve clients facing substance use challenges, including those in varying stages of recovery. You will understand the intricacies of addiction and recovery, guiding clients from initial assessments to ongoing support, ensuring they feel understood and empowered throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and recovery-oriented practices.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy within the context of addiction treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
