Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, specifically Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients seeking assistance in reducing anxiety, managing stress, and enhancing overall well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' unique stressors, mental health challenges, and personal goals. Customize treatment plans based on these assessments to align with each client’s specific needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques, aimed at cultivating self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and strategies for building resilience among participants.

• Incorporate mindfulness deeply into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health issues while promoting holistic growth.

• Collaborate closely with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to develop an integrated approach to care that maximizes client outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions employed, and treatment plans to support ongoing care and compliance.

• Commit to regular personal mindfulness practice to enhance both personal well-being and professional effectiveness, while engaging in continuous professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, and stress-related issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Strong foundation in mindfulness practices with proficiency in integrating these techniques within therapeutic intervention.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of establishing a calming and supportive therapeutic environment that encourages client openness.

Preferred Experience\n
