Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Haña Wellness Clinic, you will be instrumental in helping young adults ages 18 to 30 through our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Leading Group Therapy Sessions: Facilitate dynamic and supportive group therapy sessions that encourage clients to connect, share personal experiences, and learn from one another.

• Providing Individual Counseling: Conduct empathetic individual therapy sessions focusing on clients' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while helping them devise practical coping strategies and action plans.

• Collaborating on Treatment Plans: Work closely with clients to develop personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans that align with their unique needs and preferences.

• Monitoring Progress: Employ various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to track and evaluate clients' progress, ensuring that therapies remain effective and aligned with goals.

• Team Collaboration: Engage actively with other members of our multidisciplinary team, coordinating care and consulting on complex cases to achieve optimal client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on teenagers and young adults aged 18 to 30 who are navigating various mental health challenges. This demographic often requires specialized strategies that are empathetic and tailored to their unique life circumstances. You will help clients work through issues such as anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship difficulties.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a passion for helping others.

• Experience in group and individual therapy settings.

• Competency in using telehealth technology for effective remote counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with additional certifications in evidence-based treatment modalities and those who have prior telehealth counseling experience will be highly regarded. Familiarity with young adult mental health issues and previous work in outpatient settings is advantageous.
