At MediaWorks, we're looking for an energetic Account Manager to join our Marlborough team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of New Zealand's most recognised radio brands and digital advertising solutions, partnering with businesses to create innovative campaigns that deliver real results. About The Role As an Account Manager, you'll manage an established portfolio while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities across the Marlborough region. You'll work closely with clients to understand their business goals and recommend tailored advertising solutions across our extensive media platforms. This is a fast-paced, client-facing role where no two days are the same. Success comes from building trusted relationships, thinking commercially, and consistently delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Be Doing Managing and growing an existing portfolio of advertising clients. Prospecting and winning new business opportunities. Creating customised advertising solutions across MediaWorks' radio and digital platforms. Building long-term relationships with local businesses. Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs. Managing your sales pipeline and customer activity through CRM. Collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional campaigns for clients. What We're Looking For You’ll be someone who enjoys connecting with people and thrives in a sales environment. Ideally, you’ll bring: Proven experience in B2B sales or account management. A track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills. The ability to understand client needs and present commercial solutions. Excellent organisation and time management skills. Confidence using CRM systems and managing an active sales pipeline. A positive attitude, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping customers succeed. Experience within media or advertising is an advantage but not essential, we're happy to teach the industry to someone with strong sales capability and the right attitude.
