Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients’ mood-related symptoms, enabling you to customize treatment plans.

• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each client’s goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs, utilizing evidence-based methodologies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices to encourage active participation in their mental health journey.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure efficacy and responsiveness to treatment.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring a well-rounded approach to client treatment.

• Stay current with research and advancements in mood disorder therapies to continually enhance your clinical practice.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
