Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify and understand clients' mental health needs, formulating individualized and evidence-based treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances. \n Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques to facilitate effective therapy sessions for individuals, groups, and families, using methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies. \n Collaborate with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to care that addresses all facets of a client’s health. \n Deliver crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute distress, including risk assessment and emotional support, demonstrating your expertise in maintaining calm in high-stress situations. \n Engage with the local community through outreach programs that aim to destigmatize mental health issues, delivering workshops or seminars that educate the public about mental health challenges and resources. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n As a Mental Health Therapist at Greene Health, you will work with a diverse group of clients from varied ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
