Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist in the Orlando area. This contract position is perfect for a dedicated SLP (CCC) who thrives in a collaborative educational environment. You’ll work with a supportive middle school team to deliver crucial speech and language services to grades 6–8. The school is seeking someone to begin as soon as possible and serve through the end of the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Florida state SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field
• Previous experience in school settings preferred, especially with middle school populations
• Successful completion of district background check and fingerprinting (time-sensitive requirement)
• Flexible, collaborative mindset and strong communication skills

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to middle school students, caseload to be confirmed
• Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with other educators
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and documentation as required
• Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams regarding student progress
• Support students’ communication needs, contributing to their overall educational success

This is a full-time, on-site role (35 hours/week) supporting one school location for the full school year. Your expertise will directly contribute to students’ confidence and achievement in a dynamic learning environment.
