Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students as a Speech Language Pathologist. This on-site position serves a single campus working with grades 6–8, managing a caseload of approximately 60–65 students. Candidates with strong communication, assessment, and intervention skills will make an immediate impact, collaborating with staff and parents to foster students’ academic and social development.

Key Qualifications:

• Current FL State Speech-Language Pathology license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related discipline
• Previous school-based SLP experience, ideally with middle school populations
• Clearance via district background check, fingerprinting, and time-sensitive forms

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in grades 6–8
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver targeted therapy, both group and one-on-one, based on student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize learning outcomes
• Keep comprehensive documentation, progress records, and support compliance with district and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and support the broader goals of the school community
