Exciting opportunity available for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to support middle school students in a dynamic educational setting. Your expertise will make a meaningful impact on students in grades 6 through 8, collaborating with a supportive school team to foster communication skills and help students thrive. This contract role requires on-site presence, with full-time hours during the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Florida State License for Speech Language Pathology
• CCC credential through ASHA
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or closely related area
• School-based experience working with adolescents, preferably at the middle school level
• Ability to complete district background check, fingerprinting, and all necessary documentation promptly

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students identified with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Deliver individualized and group therapy in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure well-rounded progress for each student
• Maintain accurate records and participate in district/program meetings as needed
• Engage with a diverse student population, adapting strategies to maximize learning outcomes

You’ll be based on one campus, making it easy to build strong relationships with students and staff. The contract runs through the end of the current school year, offering a consistent and rewarding schedule.
