Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for clients, identifying emotional, social, and financial needs through in-depth interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Provide individual and group counseling to a diverse range of clients, focusing on issues such as adjustment disorders, grief, trauma, and coping strategies.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary medical teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Facilitate crisis intervention and provide immediate support during high-stress situations, employing appropriate therapeutic techniques to stabilize clients.

• Coordinate with community organizations and external resources to arrange continuity of care services for clients post-discharge.

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all client interactions in compliance with both state laws and organizational policies.

• Participate actively in team meetings and hospital committees, lending your expertise on social work issues to support clinical decisions.

• Educate clients and their families about treatment options, available resources, and coping mechanisms to empower them on their health journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
