Principal, Atlas Deal Team

Apollo is looking for a Principal to join their Atlas Deal Team. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind key transactions and strategic initiatives in a high-growth asset-backed finance business. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and mentor junior team members, all while engaging with a variety of stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives. What You’ll Do Lead day-to-day execution across various workstreams and drive deal momentum. Prepare and present strategic analysis for senior leadership. Negotiate and execute transactions with full accountability. Engage regularly with key stakeholders to advance objectives. Oversee reporting and portfolio management to align with strategy. Contribute to strategic initiatives like capital structure and new asset classes. Mentor junior team members to enhance team capabilities. What You Need 6+ years of experience in securitized products banking or structured finance. Strong understanding of asset-backed structures and related asset classes. Ability to analyze and optimize transaction structures. Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills. Established network of relationships with investors and lenders. Commercial mindset to balance risk and execution. Strong communication skills to present complex topics clearly.
