Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ mental health status to identify their specific needs and challenges.

• Create personalized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's circumstances and goals.

• Engage in regular therapy sessions with clients, employing effective therapeutic techniques to help them manage and overcome their issues.

• Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or nutritionists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in the EHR system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse clientele includes adolescents and adults facing a myriad of challenges, including mental health disorders, substance use issues, and life transitions. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from various cultural backgrounds, further developing your cultural competence and understanding of different perspectives in therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current and valid license as LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.
\n
• Minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience with electronic health record systems and various computer applications.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
