Your Responsibilities: Meet sales goals by writing new personal lines property and casualty policies from agency-provided leads. Use the Danny Day Agency sales process while bringing your experience and judgment to each client conversation. Identify prospects’ needs, explain coverage options, handle objections, and confidently ask for the business. Maintain an accurate pipeline in our CRM and follow up promptly with prospects. Gather accurate application information and follow carrier underwriting requirements. Ensure new clients submit all required documents and electronic signatures. Stay current on the products you sell and applicable carrier rules and guidelines. What We Expect From You: Required: An active California Property and Casualty insurance license and availability from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time. We provide training, resources, and coaching to help you build on your existing insurance experience and succeed with our agency. Insurance Experience: You have at least one year of insurance sales experience. Integrity First : You act honestly, recommend appropriate coverage, and put clients’ needs at the center of every conversation. Business Acumen: You understand how new business, client retention, and accurate underwriting contribute to a successful agency. You prioritize opportunities, manage your time effectively, and use performance metrics to improve your results. Consistent Daily Activity: Meet daily activity standards for outbound calls, follow-ups, and quotes. Respond promptly to new leads and live transfers, and keep your CRM records current to support a productive pipeline. Sales Acumen: You ask thoughtful questions, identify coverage needs, and clearly communicate value beyond price. You confidently handle objections, follow up consistently, and ask for the business while recommending coverage that fits the client’s needs. Clear Communication: You build rapport over the phone, listen carefully, and explain coverage in straightforward language. Organization and Follow-Through: You manage multiple prospects, maintain accurate CRM records, and prioritize timely follow-up.
