Work Environment\n

As part of our remote team, you will be an integral part of our innovative outpatient practice, utilizing advanced telehealth tools and platforms to connect with clients across Virginia. Your work schedule will align with regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a harmonious work-life balance that respects your personal time. Key Responsibilities\n

In this vital role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of clients' mood disorders, including depression and anxiety.

• Collaborating with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, preferences, and life circumstances.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients manage their mental health effectively.

• Providing psychoeducation and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders and available treatment options, empowering them with information to navigate their mental health journey.
\n
• Monitoring client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary modifications to treatment plans based on empirical data and feedback.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and medical professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure that all aspects of the client's mental health are addressed.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation of all client interactions, sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in case consultations and team meetings to share insights, engage in professional development, and remain up-to-date with industry best practices in mood disorder treatment.

• Serving as an advocate for clients while promoting the destigmatization of mental health issues within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily engage with individuals struggling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. We proudly cater to a diverse client prototype, ensuring that all patients receive respectful, culturally competent care tailored to their unique life experiences and backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Virginia.

• A strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, such as CBT and DBT.
\n
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and experience in working collaboratively with psychiatrists.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
