Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based Opportunity

Location: Chico, CA Area
School Year: 2026–2027

ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district in the Chico, California area to hire a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity working with a collaborative team that values student success and clinician support.

Clinicians at all experience levels, including Clinical Fellows, are welcome to apply. The district is moving quickly with interviews and hiring decisions.

Assignment Overview

• Contract Dates: August 2026 – May 2027
• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
• Work Setting: Onsite school-based role
• Grade Levels: K–12 population

Key Duties

• Deliver speech and language therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
• Complete assessments and help determine eligibility for services
• Work closely with educators, families, and support staff
• Track and report student progress
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or related field
• Active California SLP license (or ability to obtain)
• CF applicants will be considered

• Pay starting at $60 an hour and going up depending on experience
