Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, to develop an in-depth understanding of clients' needs.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that incorporate their specific goals, cultural factors, and therapeutic preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in various formats, including individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring prompt and effective responses to their needs.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes, adhering to ethical and regulatory standards.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducation sessions with clients and their families, equipping them with knowledge and skills to manage mental health challenges.
\n
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and seamless communication across disciplines.
\n
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes and collaborate on adjustments to improve the effectiveness of therapy.

• Stay informed of the latest research, best practices, and trends in mental health to continually enhance your clinical practice.

• Uphold the highest ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals seeking mental health support who may have endured trauma, face anxiety or depression, or need assistance with relationship challenges. You will be integral to developing therapeutic relationships that foster trust and open communication for clients from diverse backgrounds within the El Paso community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to establish strong connections with clients from wide-ranging cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with at least two years of clinical experience in providing mental health services will be favored. Experience with teletherapy platforms and familiarity with electronic health record systems will enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The annually offered salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $84,000, based on qualifications and experience.
