Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to gauge the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, effective treatment options, and necessary self-care strategies to enhance recovery.

• Continuously monitor and assess clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care, promoting an integrated treatment approach.

• Keep up-to-date with current research and best practices in mental health treatment to deliver the highest standard of care.

• Maintain meticulous records of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans to comply with legal regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with a diverse client population, including adolescents, adults, and families, all of whom require tailored support and informed treatment strategies to navigate their unique challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Proven expertise in treatment modalities specific to mood disorders, especially CBT and DBT, with demonstrated success in applying these techniques in clinical settings.
