Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive assessments to understand the unique needs of clients.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and client feedback.

• Provide outpatient therapy sessions aimed at enhancing clients' coping strategies and resilience.

• Utilize tools and methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based strategies tailored to specific client circumstances.

• Implement crisis management plans and create effective relapse prevention strategies to ensure client safety and progress.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and other complex mental health issues. We focus on providing trauma-informed care that respects the varied backgrounds and experiences of our clients, allowing for personalized treatment that fosters trust and rapport.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related mental health field.

• Active licensure in Virginia as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases with a strong understanding of psychological theories and therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to build strong therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of professional experience providing mental health therapy, particularly in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
