Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate client treatment needs, formulating accurate diagnoses in accordance with the DSM V standards.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate best practice guidelines tailored to individual diagnosis, ensuring all clients receive personalized care.

• Deliver therapy and supportive counseling using various modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavior modification, and brief therapies in individual, family, and group settings.

• Provide crisis intervention as necessary, responding effectively to urgent client needs and coordinating with appropriate services for immediate support.

• Offer training and education on clinical topics to fellow team members and the wider community, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
\n
• Manage an active caseload efficiently, documenting progress and maintaining accurate clinical records, including utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) proficiently.

• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to Mental Health Workers and therapy assistants, enhancing team capability and service delivery.

• Collaborate with various healthcare professionals and community organizations to create cross-system plans for client treatment, emphasizing integrated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your practice will primarily involve supporting maternal clients and individuals from medically underserved populations. This includes addressing complex mental health issues while navigating the challenges posed by social determinants of health that affect their well-being. Your work will directly contribute to improving health equity and access to mental health resources in the community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work, from an accredited institution (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD).

• Current independent licensure to practice (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in Oregon or the state of residence.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in addressing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills, with proficiency in electronic mail and awareness of digital healthcare communication protocols.

• Competency in managing large caseloads and collaborating with health providers and support staff.
\n
