Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs, documenting findings accurately and using them to formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitative modalities, designed to improve mobility and functional outcomes.
• Maintain active communication with patients, addressing their concerns related to progress and treatment efficacy while fostering a supportive environment for their recovery.
• Educate patients about their rehabilitation journey, including exercises for home practice, preventative measures, and strategies to enhance their overall well-being.
• Collaborate with a team of physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care and maximize treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will be pivotal in treating a diverse patient population facing various orthopedic challenges, including joint replacements, fractures, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Many of our patients present with significant limitations due to physical injuries or surgeries, requiring a thoughtful and empathetic approach to restore their mobility and quality of life. By leveraging your skills, you will help patients reclaim their independence and gain confidence in their abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in physical therapy, particularly with orthopedic patients.
• Strong ability to work independently while also being an effective collaborator within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that focuses on positive outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or similar platforms to manage patient documentation and treatment progress effectively.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to, ultrasound therapy, electrical stimulation, and joint mobilization.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
