Work Environment\n

This position operates exclusively in a remote setting, allowing therapists to engage with clients through secure virtual therapy platforms. Our work hours run Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that supports work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing various therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in compliance with California state laws and health insurance regulations.
\n
• Engage collaboratively with fellow clinicians and support staff to enhance the quality of care and optimize treatment outcomes.

• Participate in clinical supervision and case consultations, fostering professional development and clinical excellence.
\n
• Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and uphold client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and BBS regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily service a diverse range of clients, including individuals and families from varied backgrounds, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent populations. Our commitment to cultural competency ensures that every therapeutic intervention is sensitive to each client's unique experiences, perspectives, and needs, ultimately fostering stronger therapeutic alliances and better mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid license in the State of California as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in good standing.
\n
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; higher degrees will be considered an asset.

• A minimum of 1-2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Demonstrable proficiency in working with a wide range of clients, particularly underrepresented communities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and virtual therapy platforms like SimplePractice and Zoom.

• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable (languages such as Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese, or Farsi are a plus).
