Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, including crisis plans and positive behavior support strategies.

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards to uphold the quality of our services.

• Employ evidence-based screening tools during patient evaluations to guide treatment direction.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement behavioral support plans that promote positive outcomes for clients.

• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, maintaining high standards of care.
\n
• Serve as a liaison among various service systems, state agencies, and community partners to streamline care delivery.

• Maintain effective communication channels to uphold our agency's mission and meet contract expectations.
\n
• Build relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to secure potential partnerships and funding opportunities.

• Engage in continued professional development through conferences, trainings, and representation at statewide meetings and committees.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the overall mission of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population is diverse, encompassing individuals with various emotional health needs, including those undergoing substance use recovery, individuals with developmental disabilities, and clients who have sustained acquired brain injuries. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you have the opportunity to create meaningful, therapeutic relationships with patients, empowering them on their journey towards healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master's Degree in a mental health field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an independent LMHC license valid in Washington State. We are pleased to cover the licensing fees for counselors relocating from other states.
