Role Description We are looking for a Sales Engineer who can bridge the gap between sales, strategy, and technical execution. This role will work closely with the Sales team to support the sales process by providing technical expertise, marketplace insights, and tailored solution design for prospective brand partners. The ideal candidate understands Amazon marketplace operations, ecommerce analytics, and marketplace technologies, and can translate complex marketplace strategies into clear, compelling solutions for brand stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Partner with the Sales team to support discovery calls, product demos, and technical consultations with prospective brand partners. Analyze prospective clients’ Amazon storefronts, listings, and marketplace performance to identify growth opportunities. Develop custom marketplace growth strategies leveraging Recom’s services and translate technical marketplace capabilities into clear business value for prospective brand partners Serve as a subject matter expert on Amazon ecosystem tools and marketplace best practices. Build data-driven presentations showcasing marketplace opportunity, competitive insights, and growth projections. Collaborating with internal teams (marketing, analytics, operations) to validate and refine proposed solutions and insights. Participate in client meetings and presentations during the sales process. Help prospects understand how Recom’s platform, tools, and operational model drive measurable growth. Address technical questions around Amazon operations, listing optimization, analytics, and advertising strategies. Provide feedback to product and leadership teams on client needs and market trends. Minimum Qualifications: 3–7+ years experience in sales engineering, solutions consulting, or ecommerce strategy Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, or marketplace ecosystems Experience working with ecommerce brands, agencies, or marketplace platforms Strong presentations skills and ability to analyze ecommerce data and translate insights into growth strategies Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Amazon advertising (PPC / DSP) Experience with marketplace analytics tools or ecommerce BI platforms Familiarity with brand protection, MAP enforcement, or buy box strategy Experience in high-growth ecommerce or agency environments #J-18808-Ljbffr RECOM
