Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility in Tampa is a welcoming and supportive space designed to facilitate healing and recovery. The work environment is structured to promote teamwork among health professionals while ensuring individual patients receive personalized attention. You will work full-time hours, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on creating a relaxed yet motivated atmosphere for patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their individual goals and objectives.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, providing attentive and high-quality care.
• Utilize a diverse range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programming, to enhance clients' mobility and functional capabilities.
• Calculate and administer cost-effective therapy options that reduce the need for surgical interventions and medication reliance.
• Encourage and motivate patients by offering support and reinforcement throughout their treatment journey, aiming to maximize their overall functionality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment services provided, tracking patient progress and outcomes accurately.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with clients in an orthopedic outpatient setting, focusing on adults recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Patients will often require tailored rehabilitation programs that address specific needs, depending on the nature of their injuries. Your expertise will play a crucial role in their recovery process and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required. A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current and valid Florida state license to practice Physical Therapy.
• No disciplinary actions or board violations on your professional license.
• Proficient in advanced manual therapy techniques and designing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, including but not limited to WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient recovery outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually, depending on your level of experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
