The Premier Health and Wellness Center, located in the vibrant city of Tampa, Florida, is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our full-time clinical team. Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite in our state-of-the-art outpatient facility. Here, you will find a collaborative environment that fosters teamwork among healthcare professionals, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. The clinic operates in a patient-centric atmosphere, emphasizing positive outcomes and a strong support network for both staff and patients. Our schedule operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to accommodate specific patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patient mobility, strength, and overall functionality based on thorough assessments and communicated goals.
• Conduct one-on-one therapeutic sessions, guiding patients through a variety of exercises, stretches, and activities tailored to alleviate pain and enhance their physical condition.
• Educate patients and their families on proper body mechanics and effective exercise techniques, ensuring they understand their home exercise programs to foster ongoing recovery.
• Utilize advanced modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy as part of treatment, following evidence-based protocols and professional guidelines.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking metrics such as range of motion, functional strength, and overall recovery to inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
• Maintain organized treatment areas, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are clean, functional, and prepared for effective service delivery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide cohesive care and optimize clinical outcomes, participating in regular team meetings to discuss patient needs and treatment effectiveness.
• Offer emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation process, creating a motivating and caring environment.
• Adhere to all ethical standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for individual rights at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Premier Health and Wellness Center, you will work closely with a diverse clientele, including pediatric patients with developmental challenges, geriatric patients focusing on maintaining mobility, and athletes recovering from sports-related injuries. Your approach to patient care will be adapted to meet the specific needs of each individual, ensuring that everyone receives the help they require to improve their functionality and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a clinical rehabilitation setting is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient rehabilitation environments and familiarity with common orthopedic, neurological, and sports-related conditions.
• Proficiency in using rehabilitation equipment and modalities such as therapy machines and patient assessment tools.
• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and tracking patient progress.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time Physical Therapist position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
