Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Comprehensive Physical Therapy and Wellness, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional capabilities to establish treatment baselines.
• Designing customized treatment plans that align with the individual needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Administering hands-on therapy, which includes manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Educating patients and their families about home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and necessary lifestyle changes to support ongoing recovery.
• Regularly monitoring and documenting patient progress, making timely adjustments to treatment plans to facilitate optimal outcomes.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
• Maintaining accurate and current medical records, in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population facing various musculoskeletal and neurological challenges, including post-surgery rehabilitation, athletic injuries, chronic pain management, and post-stroke recovery. Your role will be crucial in enabling these patients to regain mobility, enhance functional abilities, and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license to practice in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in physical therapy or related rehabilitation fields.
• Strong clinical skills with the capability to perform and assess a variety of therapeutic interventions.
