Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients, including reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to decide on appropriate treatment plans and recommendations.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies clearly to patients and their families, fostering their involvement in setting rehabilitation goals.
• Implement treatment protocols based on individualized patient evaluations while adapting to changing healthcare landscapes and patient responses.
• Collaborate with other health professionals as necessary, monitoring and documenting any changes in the patient's condition that may require adjustments to the care plan.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care effectively. Document all patient care activities meticulously through legible notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations that encapsulate the patient's journey.
• Utilize effective time management strategies to meet productivity standards while maintaining an organized schedule and punctual attendance in meetings and sessions.
• Engage in departmental goal-setting and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards to advance the overall mission of our clinic.
• Proactively pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical and professional competencies, contributing to the knowledge base of both yourself and the clinic.
• Promote an exceptional patient experience and ensure access to care through flexibility and responsible adaptability to patient needs.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at improving patient access and efficiency, actively contributing to clinical data assessment and the implementation of necessary optimizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work primarily with a diverse patient demographic, involving individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related discipline.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist in Florida, ensuring compliance with local regulations and professional standards.
• Current American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in a rehabilitation or clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits
