Key Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to evaluate their physical conditions and discuss symptoms, creating a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop personalized treatment plans that address patients' unique health profiles and therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients in therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they understand their importance in the rehabilitation process.
• Utilize a variety of treatment methods, including stimulation and massage, to expedite healing and recovery.
• Assist patients in adapting to the use of mobility aids such as wheelchairs or walkers, promoting independence and functional mobility.
• Maintain detailed patient records, documenting progress and updating treatment goals to reflect patient advancements.
• Engage with patients and their families, providing insights into in-home exercises and care strategies to support recovery beyond our clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a wide range of patients, from children to older adults, who encompass various diagnoses including, but not limited to, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological disorders. We take pride in our ability to cater to each patient's specific needs through customized therapy sessions, ensuring an inclusive and supportive healing environment.

Qualifications

• A valid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Active and valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Proficient in computer skills and word processing for maintaining patient records and documentation.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced work environment, responding to patient needs proactively.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy, showcasing a strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
