Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our Tampa facility, you will work directly onsite within a well-equipped rehabilitation setting. Our facility is designed to provide a calming and efficient environment conducive to recovery and rehabilitation. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care. Our working hours are typically from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, providing you with a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions, limitations, and potential.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's needs.
• Implement treatment protocols effectively, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques to facilitate recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other specialists to coordinate timely and effective patient care.
• Monitor and document changes in patients' conditions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Engage in patient education, helping individuals understand their treatment and recovery process while empowering them to take an active role in their health.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay current with industry standards and clinical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice in the State of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required.
• Possession of a valid CPR certificate.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation facility working with diverse patient cases, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and geriatric care.
