Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to understand their physical challenges and capabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise, and modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, helping them understand exercises, safety measures, and the use of assistive devices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nursing staff, to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Continuously pursue professional development by participating in training, workshops, and networking opportunities to stay current in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will support a diverse patient population, including children and adults experiencing a wide range of injuries, chronic illnesses, and post-operative conditions. You will provide solutions tailored to each individual, assisting them in achieving both physical rehabilitation goals and enhancing their daily functional abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• State License in Physical Therapy and eligibility to practice in Florida.
• Current CPR certification is essential.
• Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively interact with patients and their families.
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and other technology platforms necessary for documenting patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably in home care settings.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and familiarity with varying therapeutic modalities and methods.
• Candidates with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
