This position allows you the flexibility of remote work while being part of a supportive outpatient office structure located in New Castle, Colorado. Our outpatient facility offers a collaborative environment where mental health professionals come together to support students' needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, identifying their specific needs and challenges related to autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and ADHD.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address individual emotional and psychological issues, promoting integration within the school community.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing students' coping strategies, emotional regulation, and personal growth.
\n
• Work collaboratively with educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to student care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring students have access to the resources they need.

• Engage in psychoeducation activities, guiding students and their families in understanding mental health conditions, treatment options, and available support resources.

• Maintain detailed records and documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards, while also tracking individual progress toward treatment goals.

• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings, contributing insights into best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.

• Stay informed about current laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines relevant to practice, ensuring our services adhere to industry standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on working with students of all ages with diverse special needs. You will be directly involved in addressing and managing a variety of mental health issues, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), emotional and behavioral disorders, and trauma-related struggles. Your expertise will play a vital role in creating safe learning environments and enhancing students' academic performance and personal development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in Colorado.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting, preferably within educational or clinical contexts.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and the principles of trauma-informed care.

• Proficient in conducting mental health assessments, formulating treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and crisis management skills, with the ability to remain composed in high-stress situations.

• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.
\n
• A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards in practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
