Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental and emotional health, focusing on areas requiring support.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to clients' unique goals and needs, involving clients in the planning process.

• Provide individual therapy sessions addressing various issues, such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma.

• Lead couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication, resolving conflicts, and strengthening interpersonal connections.

• Regularly monitor clients' progress, reviewing and adjusting treatment strategies as needed to ensure effective support and positive outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous client records, ensuring that all progress notes, treatment plans, and case histories are up-to-date and comply with ethical and legal standards.

• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals to deliver holistic client care when necessary.

• Offer crisis intervention support to clients facing acute mental distress or emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Stay informed about the latest research, therapeutic techniques, and best practices in marriage and family therapy through continual education.

• Represent Owensboro Mental & Health Wellness Clinic professionally in all interactions and uphold its mission and values in your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including teenagers, adults, and couples. Our clinic serves individuals dealing with various mental health conditions, enabling you to apply a wide range of therapeutic methodologies tailored to specific populations. This variety allows therapists to develop their skills in different areas and provide impactful care to those who need it most.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related discipline.

• Active LMFT licensure through the State Board in Arizona.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and couples therapy, with a focus on evidence-based practices.

• Strong ability to complete assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in a timely manner.

• Excellent writing and communication skills, with proficiency in electronic health record systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
