Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical support to clients with severe mental illness and emotional disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to individual needs.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that reflect an understanding of clients’ sociocultural backgrounds and needs.

• Engage in crisis intervention and management, employing strong risk assessment skills to ensure client safety and well-being.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, psychiatric nurses, and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress in compliance with organizational protocols and ethical guidelines.

• Actively contribute to team meetings and training sessions, sharing insights and strategies that promote best practices in clinical care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele served through this position includes adults facing severe mental health issues, such as major depression, anxiety disorders, and PTSD. As an LCSW, you will develop rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and will honor their unique traditions and beliefs, fostering an environment of trust and respect. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work is required; however, a Master's degree is preferred.

• You must possess a current and valid LCSW license to practice in California.

• Proven ability to work effectively with clients and exhibit outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Expert knowledge in assessment, diagnosis, risk assessment, crisis management, and implementing evidence-based treatment interventions.

• Strong organizational and planning skills to manage caseloads effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient or community mental health setting.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used for documentation and client management.

• Experience working within a hospice or palliative care environment is highly desirable but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
