Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs and life circumstances.

• Develop and implement tailored care plans that promote recovery, well-being, and quality of life.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques, to facilitate positive outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with all documentation standards as required by state and federal regulations.
\n
• Collaborate closely with medical professionals, nurses, and other specialists to provide holistic, coordinated care.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families, empowering them to navigate available support options and services.

• Continuously integrate innovative practices and evidence-based strategies into client interactions and treatment modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on working with individuals and families who are dealing with serious illness, grief, and end-of-life issues within the hospice setting. You will guide clients through complex emotional and psychological experiences, ensuring they feel supported and understood during challenging times.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution, along with a valid LCSW license in California.

• Strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment handling multiple clients with diverse backgrounds.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside a passion for providing high-quality mental health care.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of experience in clinical social work, preferably in a hospice or palliative care setting, although candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply.

• Experience managing end-of-life issues and a background in grief counseling is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
