Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Utica, New York. Start date 09/14/2026 for 12 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,330–$2,349 per week with guaranteed hours of 36. Shift is 2x3 Rotating in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for obstetric patients and newborns across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages, plus gynecology patients as needed.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, perform assessments, administer medications as ordered, and assist with labor and delivery, including cesarean sections when required.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia, neonatology, and nursing team; document care and decisions in Epic/Stork EMR.
- Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies; implement safety protocols; support lactation counseling and postpartum education for patients and families.
- Maintain accurate charting, adhere to unit policies, and participate in assigned on-call or rotating scheduling.
- May float to maternal-child units or related areas per facility policy to support patient care needs.

Requirements
- Active New York Registered Nurse license
- 4–5 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Experience with obstetric care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum care; gynecology and newborn care
- Epic and Stork EMR experience
- Ability to work in a hospital L&D setting; willing to float to related units per policy
- Willingness to work a rotating schedule

Education
- Nursing degree from an accredited program and current NY RN licensure
