Senior Accountant - Tax and Bookkeeping

Well established, highly profitable CPA / business management firm is searching for a talented Tax and Bookkeeping professional. We provide a wide range of tax and related business services to individual and commercial clients, primarily in the real estate and entertainment industries.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Preparing federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, fiduciaries and estate returns.
• Preparing individual tax returns.
• Bookkeeping for clients.
• Heavy correspondence with clients and federal and state tax authorities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years tax return experience.
• QuickBooks proficiency required.
• Experience with tax software, the firm uses Lacerte.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable working with clients.
• Must have experience working for a CPA firm.
• Experience with multi-state returns desired.
• International experience, such as Forms 3520, 3528, 3520-A, 5471 desired.
• Must have exposure to real estate and entertainment industry clients.
