Legacy Physical Therapist is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at our rehabilitation facility in Woodbridge, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans that align with their therapeutic goals.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches to administer treatments, including exercise regimens, hands-on therapy techniques, and the use of therapeutic equipment tailored to individual needs.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, response to treatments, and modify intervention strategies as needed to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with caregivers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to educate and empower patients in self-care techniques and the use of assistive devices.
• Maintain professionalism by engaging in ongoing education, attending workshops, and actively participating in relevant professional societies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass working with a diverse population, from pediatrics to geriatrics, providing care for individuals recovering from injuries, surgical procedures, or managing chronic illnesses. You will design treatment plans that address the unique challenges faced by each patient, ensuring that they are on a path to recovery that respects their individual circumstances and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent credentials, with a valid license to practice in the state of Virginia.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration and education with patients and their families.
• Proficient computer skills for documenting patient records and using rehabilitation software.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of patients and their treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Experience in home care settings is a plus, providing insight into diverse recovery environments.
• Familiarity with various physical therapy modalities and assistive technologies to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
