Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients across various age groups recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs.
• Design and implement rehabilitation protocols utilizing multiple therapeutic modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Continuously reassess patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies and goals based on data-driven outcomes to enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
• Document treatment progress and related patient data meticulously, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Guide patients and their support systems in using assistive devices, providing education on exercises and techniques to reinforce at-home practice.
• Urge a culture of continuous professional development by attending workshops, utilizing professional literature, and engaging with local and national physical therapy organizations to stay updated on industry advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license for the State of Florida.

• Competence with electronic health record systems and a basic familiarity with word processing and data management software.
