Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and establish baseline measures for treatment.

• Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, integrating feedback from ongoing assessments.

• Facilitate various therapeutic sessions, including individual, family, and group therapies, utilizing psychoeducation techniques to promote understanding and healing.

• Lead process groups that encourage client interaction and support while managing group dynamics to foster a safe environment.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and support staff, to ensure cohesive care and develop effective discharge plans for patients.

• Perform regular follow-up assessments post-discharge to evaluate client progress and address any emerging needs or concerns.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, treatment progress, and other essential records in accordance with regulatory and compliance standards.

• Identify potential safety risks and emergencies, implementing appropriate interventions and referrals as necessary to safeguard client well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly involve supporting a diverse client base, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, among other mental health concerns. You will need to be culturally competent and sensitive to the varied backgrounds and circumstances of your clients, ensuring that each interaction is supportive and empowering.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, clinical psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in California.

• Proven ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients while promoting a therapeutic alliance.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate clinical concepts effectively to clients and team members.

• Must successfully pass a background check.

Preferred Experience\n
