Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for clients in order to develop tailored therapy plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Engage actively in multidisciplinary team collaborations for comprehensive care, ensuring communication and synergy among healthcare providers.

• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation, aligned with ethical standards and legal regulations.

• Participate in ongoing professional development workshops to enhance therapeutic skills and remain current with evolving mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Many of our clients have previously faced significant hurdles in accessing care and require both understanding and specialized interventions to navigate their paths toward wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably within a clinical environment.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in the mental health field.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Proven ability to work efficiently with a healthcare team to deliver holistic client care.

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and virtual counseling tools.

Preferred Experience\n
